Hi, my name is Maia. I am fundraising for tuition to attend a summer immersion medical program and NYFL at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine - Winston-Salem, NC, in the summer of 2023.

I am currently a 9th grader with a 4.1 GPA. I've known that I wanted to help people since I was very young, and this program can help me get one step closer to my dream of becoming a surgeon.

This program will help me better learn about my interest in medicine, provide hands-on experiences and direct me in a particular direction. This program covers topics such: Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Physiology and Pathology, Neurology, Ultrasound, Cancer Care, Medical Research, COVID-19, Outdoor Medicine Simulation and Triage Simulations. The cost to attend this program is $5,000, including tuition, room & board, site visits & transportation during the program, lectures, simulations, curriculum & materials, and faculty & staff.
