Hello friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart to share that my father lost his fight to an illness he battled for a long time.

On March 24th, 2021 at 5:31 pm the Lord called him home.

My father fought extremely hard and those who knew my father well knew his undying strength and resilience. The doctors still do not know what internally triggered such an aggressive attack on his body and they have no diagnosis at this time. However, my father recovered from something very similar to this in 2016 and I was able to enjoy more years with him. This time, variables were very different and God allowed him to let go of his pain and suffering.

I am my father’s only local family. The remainder of his family lives in Turkey and are unable to travel here. By blood I am the only one in the US, but my father had an abundance of supporters who loved him like family. I have created this GoFundMe account to try to bring together enough resources to give my dad the respectful & dignified burial I know he deserves. He gave so much to so many and even when he had nothing left to give he would still want to do all he could to offer support. I am asking that of my friends and family because I cannot do this alone. Any support you have to offer would be greatly appreciated no matter the type. 

I will be updating donors as information comes as I have a general idea of cost at this time and have set the fundraising goal accordingly.

Although my grief feels heavy enough to break my reserve, I am given strength knowing he is with the Lord.

Although my desire to know what caused this is infuriating, I find peace in knowing he is no longer suffering. 

And although I miss him more than I ever thought I could miss anything, I find patience in knowing he is always with me and I will see him again someday.
