"For my children, Rakan and Masarra... For all the children of Gaza"

I am Mahmoud from Gaza, a father of two children: Rakan, 4, and Masarra, just one.

Every morning, I open my eyes to two little faces asking me about safety, about milk, about flour, about security, about when we will return home, and about the sound of explosions.

In Gaza, nothing is certain. No tomorrow, no electricity, no water, not even a piece of bread. My children don't know what life is like. Rakan asks me, "Dad, when will we live like the children on TV?" And I have no answer.

Since the beginning of the last war, we lost our home and our library, which provided our livelihood, in the Khuza'a area, east of Khan Yunis. We have been displaced more than 11 times due to repeated Israeli military evacuations. Recently, we moved to Al-Mawasi, where there is severe overcrowding and chronic and contagious diseases. Today, we live in a tent, without furniture, privacy, and sometimes without sufficient food.

We also suffer from skyrocketing prices, as all goods are sold on the black market here, and also due to scarce resources. But we cling to hope because we believe that there are hearts in the world that still beat with humanity.

That's why I launched this campaign... for me, for Rakan and Masarra, and for the thousands of families struggling to survive. Every donation, no matter how small, is a ray of light in the darkness of the siege.

Every donation will go toward continuing our lives and purchasing the daily needs of my children and family. Help us give our children a moment of warmth, a meal, and a sense of dignity.
