Help Mahmoud and his family survive occupation

Hi! My name is Anne-Marie Barron. I am originally from Ireland, but I now live in Brooklyn, New York and I am helping a friend, Mahmoud, and his family escape occupation. Here is a message from him:

"I am Mahmoud Al-Hassi, I live in Gaza. I studied law, I worked as a lawyer, and I was a bodybuilder. I went to the gym every day, and my talent was to be a champion in bodybuilding. My family consisted of 6 members, and I always loved to go out with my friends at the beach and the chalets, and we would go out to the public and laugh, and our life was very beautiful and acceptable."

"But after October 7, all my ambitions and my life were destroyed, my home was destroyed, my family was separated, my friends died, I lost my talent, I lost my profession, and I live instead of my demolished house in a small tent. I suffer in a tent from the heat, flies, lack of water, sewage destruction, and residential overcrowding. My mother and father are sick and there is no treatment for them due to the difficult siege. I want you to help me. Until I travel outside the country, I have no money, and we have a very weak Internet and very high prices, and I will prove to you the hardship through videos and pictures."

Our long term plan is to use the funds to evacuate the family to Egypt. However, the border has not been open for a while and the family needs money for food, water and shelter at present. Your donations help the Al-Hassi family start a new life and free themselves from the horrors of war. It will give them the motivation to work hard for a fresh start and support their livelihoods. They are in urgent need of your support.
