Mahelet Kassa Funeral Expense

እሑድ የካቲት ፭/፳፻፲፭ ዓ/ም የሃያ-ስምንት ዓመቷ ኢትዮጵያዊት ወጣት እኅታችን ማሕሌት ካሳ በፖላንድ እና በቤላሩስ ድንበር ላይ በሚገኝ ጫካ ውስጥ ሞታ ተገኝታለች። ይኽቺን ወጣት በፍለጋ ያገኙልን በፖላንድ አገር የሚገኘው የሰብዓዊ ርዳታ ሰጪዎች የሆኑ የበጎ ፈቃድ አገልጋዮች ናቸው። ለተሻለ ሕይወት ፍለጋ አገሯን ለቅቃ የወጣችው ወጣት ማሕሌት ካሳ ሕይወቷ ያለፈው ከሌሎች ጓደኞቿ ጋር በመሆን ድንበር ስታቋርጥ ነው። አብረዋት የነበሩት ጓደኞቿ መጥፋቷን ለሰብዓዊ ርዳታ ሰጪ ማዕከል ካሳወቁ በኀላ የፓላንድ ፓሊሶች እርዳታ ለማድረግ ፍቃደኛ ባለመሆናቸው ምክንያት ጫካ ውስጥ ላትመለስ አሸልባ ተገኝታለች። ከአጠገብዋም ክርስትናዋን የሚገልጸው የጸሎት መጽሐፍዋ እና ቅዱሳት ስዕላት ተገኝተዋል። ይኽ ያልታሰበ እና አሰቃቂ የሆነ ኅልፈተ ሕይወት የደረሰባትን እኅት ካለችበት ቦታ ለማጓጓዝ እና በዚህ አስከፊ እና አሳዛኝ ሁኔታ የልጃቸውን ሞት ሰምተው በከባድ ኀዘን ላይ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ለሚገኙት ቤተሰቦቿ ለማድረስ እንዲሁም እስከምትሸኝበት ቀን ድረስ ለምትቆይበት የማረፊያ ቦታ እና ለሌሎች ተያያዥ ወጪዎች የገንዘብ ርዳታ ስለሚያስፈልግ በእኅታችን ስም በከፈትነው GOFUNDME ACCOUNT የቻላችሁትን ያህል እንድትረዱ ተማጽኖአችንን እናቀርባለን። ከሁሉም በላይ ደግሞ በዚህ ክቡድ ኀዘን ክፉኛ የተጎዱትን መላው ቤተሰቦቿን በጸሎት እንድታስቧቿው እንጠይቃለን።

On Sunday, February 12, 2023, our beloved Sister, Mahelet Kassa, who is 28 years old, body was found inside the forest in the Polish-Belarusian border area. She was discovered by a local humanitarian group Podlaskie Voluntary Humanitarian Emergency Service. As this young woman left her country Ethiopia for better living and opportunities, she and her friends were crossing the border. When her body was discovered, her prayer book and pictures of Saints were found next to her. We are trying to send the remain(body) of our beloved sister to her final resting place in Ethiopia where her family members reside and await for her. We cordially ask that you help with whatever you are able to cover the cost of funeral, shipping/transport, accommodations and other related expenses to bring her remains to her anxiously waiting family. We also ask for your support in prayer for her family and friends who are devastated by the loss of Mahelet Kassa.
