Mahasofia's medical campagin in Madagascar

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you remember, last year I raised money for our benevolent association, Mahasofia (named for the region of Madagascar where we operate). This year, I am seeking to raise 2,500 dollars towards our health education and surgical campaign. The team will be going to Mampikony and Befandriana Nord in northwestern Madagascar. As before, we will offer free surgeries which range from the removal of small and painful tumors caused by gout to hernias to emergency deliveries among others. Crucially, we will also be offering AIDS education and information about birth control. AIDS is making a come back in Madagascar and risks spreading rapidly through the population. Although we know what we do is just a drop in the bucket it's concrete and brings relief to some. I hope you will consider contributing—every little bit counts.
