Mr. Alec Briguglio (aka "Mr. B") - a talented musician and educator who inspired many Hawaii high school students to pursue their love of music passed away on July 24, 2020 after retiring from Punahou School at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. He leaves behind a great musical legacy including involvement in Hawaii's All-State Marching Band, Punahou School Band, and the foremost development of Hawaii's only All-Girls Marching Band at Sacred Hearts Academy. 
   Even though the COVID-19 Pandemic will not allow for a local memorial, Band Alumni of Sacred Hearts Academy have developed this Memorial Scholarship as a way to say Thank You Mr. B and "Pay it Forward".  Your modest donations will help fund partial tuition ($1,250 over the next 2 years) for a current Junior/Senior student at Sacred Hearts Academy (Honolulu, Hawaii) who  is in financial need, good Academic Standing and demonstrates a passion for music- especially band.
