Hi, my name is Mahogani, but everyone calls me MoMo. I am 2 years old and recently had my third open-heart surgery. I was born with two rare heart defects. Before the last surgery, I only had one functional lung. I still have several surgeries to undergo to help enhance my quality of life. My family and I traveled from our home in Wisconsin to California to seek the help of some of the best pediatric cardiologists in the country. While at Lucile Salter Packard Children's hospital for six weeks, I underwent a very tricky operation. Thanks to God and the team of surgeons, I now have some functionality in my left lung.

I am asking for help for my family and me because my mom was on unpaid leave and is experiencing some hardships. We had to rent a car and drive for 3 days (Our car broke down two days before we were scheduled to leave). We need help with rent, utilities, medical and travel expenses.

You see, this is the beginning of my journey with the surgeons at Stanford. My family and I will have to travel back to California for another surgery scheduled on May 16th. During this surgery, the pediatric physicians will attempt to reconstruct my left pulmonary artery to give me even more lung function.

Please help my family and me during a very trying and difficult time. Don't overextend yourself, but any amount will be truly appreciated.
