I have been sick for more than a decade. During this time, I have had 14 surgeries, multiple procedures, seen many doctors, and have had many diagnoses. I have been treated for rheumatoid arthritis with methatrexate (chemo) and enbrel injections, told I have fibromyalgia, and told I "just needed a hug". The last "diagnosis" was from the esteemed halls of Johns Hopkins University. I have sought treatment from many sources. I was under the care of Dr. Zhang of the Zhang Clinic in NYC. I couldn't tolerate his protocol, but he was the only one who correctly diagnosed me. I have lyme disease and several other coinfections. I have not been able to get appropriate treatment, until today. I met with a doctor right here in Georgetown, DE, who can rid my system of all of these tick born parasites. Because the treatment is considered experimental, insurance will not cover it, and I cannot afford it. The protocol is for 36 treatments and costs $15,100. The doctor is willing to work with me and cut the cost down to $9,700, payable in 4 payments of $2425. Yes, this is a LOT of money. For that amount, it includes 36 doctor visits, 7 of which are 6 hour iv infusions, 6 are shorter iv infusions, and 6 are blood treatments. Serious treatment for the price. I need this treatment to regain my life, without it, I will continue to decline. I am sorry to ask for help so publically, but I I'm out of other options.
