About the Project
We are a 3rd year Film crew trying to raise money for our graduate project at Falmouth university. Directed by Rowan Hutchings, Magpie is a dark, gritty period drama set in Cornwall, during the Hundred Year War between England and France in the 14th century following the journey of a young soldier in his attempt to survive.
After fleeing a lost battle, one young soldier searches for refuge at a fisherman’s fire, but with the arrival of a third party, the tides begin to turn.
We are looking to shoot at the beginning of March 2020 for a summer 2020 release
