Magnum the Service Dog

Hi, my name is Sharen and my friend needs some help. His service dog is in his words is “his lifeline” to the world. Magnum has been by his his side for almost 8 years. Their connection is immeasurable and without Magnum his ability to function in the world will be limited at best. This is what my beautiful friend wrote to me about Magnum “he is literally me world. From the second he picked me. I didn’t even want him. I seen the pics and there was 2 brown ones and a cream one and I said “I don’t want the cream one” cause the brown ones had light brown over there eyes like eye brows and I loved that. So on the night we get there and I’m paying attention to these 2 puppy’s and the cream one keeps coming to me. The owner new I wanted one of the brown ones and said “do you wanna pass the cream one over so he’s out the way” so I picked him up to pass him over but I instantly felt a connection. My eyes filled up and I was like “I need this one!” My Mam’s boyfrend said “you mean you WANT that one” I have a learning process disorder as well as autism so sometimes I use wrong words and assumed this was one of those times. But over the 7 years I’ve had him, I didn’t misspeak. I did need him! And I still need him.”
Right now, Magnum is sick. He has been to the veterinarian many times, costing a lot of money. Further tests are needed to help determine what exactly is wrong. The tests are expensive and we really need YOUR help.
