As a family we rescue, treat and rehabilitate injured and orphaned or sick koalas on Magnetic Island and the Townsville region.
We started Magnetic Island Koala Hospital properly in 2014 but have been taking in koalas for 12 years
Last year we took in over 40 animals which stretched our capacities to the limits
We are in the process of becoming an incorporated company but are not there just yet
We are featuring in Dodo Heroes on 16/6/18 -a global collaboration between The Dodo, Animal Planet and Nomadica Productions
our dream wouldbe to be able to run a koala hospital to try to save our iconic native koalas. Every Koala counts!!
