We’re the Nobil family, and this fall we’re rallying behind our son, Magner, and his dojo community at Personal Best Karate (PBK) to help feed 2,025 local families for Thanksgiving.
On Friday, November 8 we’ll be out at the PBK Turkey Trot—Magner will be sprinting the 100-yard dash, and we’ll be jogging the 1-mile fun run (with Killian along for the ride in the stroller!). The Turkey Trot raises funds for PBK’s Turkey Brigade, which assembles and delivers complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need across our community.
Last year, Magner and Mike joined hundreds of PBK students, families, and friends to help pack 2,024 Thanksgiving meals—an amazing, hands-on experience that showed our kids what community care looks like. This year, our whole family will be back to pack—and help deliver—meals after the run.
