I haven’t wanted to do this but my beautiful wife needs all the prayers I can get her!!
After being home only 2 days with our new baby Gracie. Stephanie started feeling ill, she had a fever of 104. So we brought her here to Woman’s Hospital. That was April 7, now 26 days later my wife is still here fighting. She started with viral pneumonia, then a few days later tested positive for Covid-19. Another couple days and she was placed on a ventilator, and is still on it. She’s had some tough nights, one recent night was touch and go! Since that night they’ve been allowing me to stay with her. Tomorrow they will try waking her from sedation and stress her to see if she is ready to have the breathing tube removed. In which may require a tracheotomy, and further time on ventilator. I’m asking everyone for their prayers that she can be removed safely without this procedure, and that she can begin the recovery she needs to get home to our family.
Myself, Gracie, and Katelynn all love her very much, and would very much like to have her home with us.
So if you could spare even just a second to say a short prayer for her. We would all appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts!
