Our Great M[other’s] Day Fundraiser

Every year, my birthday coincides with Mother’s Day. On this day of celebration honoring the ones in our lives who unconditionally and always support us, I’m humbled in gratitude for the countless ways I am provided for, endlessly and every day, nurtured by my own earthly Mother and our Mother Earth as well.

This year, amidst all of the challenges and great uncertainty, I’m feeling more in awe of the magnificence and generosity of Pachamama than ever. I’ve really been turning inward and reflecting on the many moments when this seed of my heart has been burst open like a sprout through the soil by the sheer beauty and splendor of our home planet. Upon taking account of my twenty-seventh year, my sincere wish for this next trip around the sun is to share wellbeing in a meaningful way that inspires healing and interconnectedness. With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to a place that’s near and dear to my Heart.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been living in the Mapacho Valley of the Peruvian Andes for more than a year now and working closely with the Paititi Institute for the Preservation of the Environment and Indigenous Culture. As a non-profit organization in service to Mother Nature and the infinite human potential, Paititi Institute is committed to embodying this paradigm shift and demonstrating what is possible through ordinary human efforts. On this journey, it has been an amazing gift and opportunity to serve alongside the Paititi community in their dedicated efforts to support a society of deep, nurturing and true values.

At this time of uncertainty, the Paititi Institute is asking for help to keep the wheel of reciprocity turning. All the resources and donations generated will go to support a 4000 acre sanctuary reserve and essential watershed of the Amazonian rainforest in Peru legally titled in the name of our institute as well as keep the ancestral wisdom lineages we work with alive and relevant for the current times. A global pandemic touches every being on the planet, and offers the opportunity for us to recognize the power of interconnectedness and the greater awakening of our shared heart.
