Maggie's fight against Cancer, Liver Sarcoma

Update 2/15/2020

Ive been thinking on how to write this post. So im just going to get to it - we're not going to California right now. I saw my dr yesterday and we went over my scans.. and we found out it has indeed spread to my lungs. So now we're going to do really aggressive chemo, I have to be in the hospital for treatment now for 4 days each time. Surgery is the end goal for my dr and us. So even tho it is the worst possible news, I dont accept it. I'm not done. I will do anything i have to do to make it they to the end. It was one of the hardest things to hear, telling my family is something that will ring in my mind for the rest of my life. Love your loved ones.. I never really had the best luck with Valentine's day. But im incredibly lucky to have the support system I do. I wouldnt be here without it this time last year I was at the happiest place on earth, and now I fight for my life..

Maggie is recently married but before her wedding, she had been diagnosed with a rare cancer known as Undifferentiated Embroyal Sarcoma of the Liver or UESL.

There are only 70 cases of adults having this cancer since 1955. Due to this, Maggie has to be seen by a specialist in California for surgery.

She is very close with her family and is currently relying on them and her husband for support in multiple ways; transportation to and from appointments being one of them. Chemotherapy can be taxing on the body and Maggie has begun to see some of those effects. I'm choosing to give my commission to her because I can’t think of anyone who deserves a break more than she does. With all that Maggie and her family are going through, medical costs shouldn’t have to be one of the stressors.

*Original Story*

In the craziness of planning a wedding, working extra hours to pay for said wedding, and dealing with multiple surgeries due to a medical condition that has left her partially deaf; Maggie didnt stop to get her abdominal pain checked.

A few weeks ago the pain became too much. Having our mom take her to the ER was nerve wracking.

We were not prepared for what they had to say.
Maggie had a blood clot. And a 17cm tumor on her liver. After 17 biopsies over several days and an unbearable wait... its cancer. My little sister has cancer. Last year she was there for me while my husband fought cancer. And now she needs me and all of you to help.

Maggie is unable to work right now and has expenses piling up. Please consider donating

Here is Maggie with her sisters Alizabeth, Nichole and Amanda.

If you feel led to donate please know we will be so grateful.

We need to rally for Maggie and Ryan. No one should have to worry about cancer. ESPECIALLY less than a month before your wedding. A day that is supposed to be the best day.

Please help us make this the best day regardless of the shadow of cancer!

I will update with more once Maggie starts treatment!

As of right now the plan is Chemo to shrink the tumor. She will be meeting with specialists in the coming weeks.

Thank you for every prayer, thought and donation. From the bottom of our hearts.
