Maggie Slater Single and Music Video PR Campaign

Hey everybody,

My name's Maggie Slater. I'm an emerging musician from Far North Queensland, currently based in Melbourne. Back in May, I recorded my new single, 'Pulp'. It's a song that tells the story that I and so many other young people (particularly women) experienced in our early relationships; loving another person so much and giving so much that we lose ourselves.

I can confidently say it is the best song I've ever recorded, and I'm so excited for it to be out in the world. Over the past couple months, the incredible group of creatives around me have put their hearts and souls into creating work and content to bring this song to life - combining photography, artwork and video (bits and pieces of which I'll be posting in the lead up to the release).

I'm extremely lucky to have made a fantastic industry connection through the AIR Women in Music Mentorship with a PR organisation who will be able to help me get this song and all the amazing art connected to it out into the world, in a way that will ensure as many people as possible can hear, see, and enjoy our hard work.

Unfortunately, these things cost money which, as a full-time student, is difficult to come by. I've been working hard to apply for grants and government funding where possible, but as I'm moving to Canada in December for exchange, and I would really love to have this released properly before I go away.

I have so much faith in what we've created; it just needs a helping hand for the right people to see it.
