Maggie Salinas Funeral Cost
Donation protected
Hello friends, my name is Kristina, I want to thank people in advance for reading this and for any contributions you may make. I feel like I’m asking for a lot. For me to ask for help is hard. But I know I’m not just asking for myself, I’m asking for my family. I’m asking for my mom. For those of you who didn’t know, the last year and a half my mom has been battling uterine cancer. She has tried all the treatments she was allowed. Towards the end of May this year she was hospitalized for 8 days. We were told that she would probably die because the tumor she had, had eroded into her bowel. The chemo was no longer working. We were prepared for the worst. Family came in, she saw her priest and was somewhat coming to terms with all of this. She was discharged home with my husband Joe and I, and it was a race to get things out of the house she was in. She was placed on hospice care, on liquid nutrition at home for 12 hours a day and all chemo treatments were stopped. Her goal was to make it to my brother Danny’s open house. She made it. That was June 10th. Here we are now in August and we are playing the waiting game. On behalf of my siblings and I, we are asking for any kind of contribution to help with funeral costs. This is not easy for us to be dealing with. Financially we were also not ready. We would appreciate any kind of help anyone is willing to put towards these costs. This is not how we were expecting things to go when our world was flipped upside down with that initial diagnosis. We are just trying to give our mom the funeral she wanted. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for even giving this a read. Thank you for any contributions.
