Maggie Huculak

Dear Friends and Colleagues –

As many of you know, our beloved friend Maggie Huculak was diagnosed with cancer in early February. Since the spring, Maggie has undergone eighteen weeks of chemotherapy followed by five weeks of radiation treatments. She is currently awaiting a surgery date. Both Nicky and I, along with several of her close friends, have borne witness, in awe, of Maggie’s grace. Those who know her well are not surprised by her irrepressible spirit. There have been joys and many sorrows but through it all, Maggie has continued to shine like the beacon she is.

However, the two years of COVID, followed almost immediately by her diagnosis, has left Maggie unable to work and with growing debt. The stress of managing her illness combined with the weight of paying her bills is now proving difficult. To say Maggie has been hesitant to agree to our GoFundMe Campaign would be an understatement. She is keenly aware of what a difficult time it is for everyone.

But we are asking for your help.

In order for Maggie to recover fully from her surgery, she will need time. She will also need care. The monies raised through our GoFundMe Campaign will afford her the peace of mind for both. It would allow for a lifted financial burden and aid in the costs of her healing that her benefits do not cover.
