Dear friends,
As many of you know, in January 2019 I was diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer and will be undergoing a double mastectomy/immediate reconstruction at the end of March. The recovery period is 3-6 weeks, with no heavy lifting for around 3 months. Since I've been earning the majority of my income from serving and bartending, which requires a lot of heavy lifting and repetitive movements, I'm going to take a financial hit while I figure out new avenues of income...UNLESS!
Your contribution will help me bridge the gap, covering medical and living expenses so I can heal without the added stress of financial insecurity.
I'm happy to say that I'm also fundraising by throwing a benefit concert with my dear friend Graham Sobelman, which will also be a CD release party for our second collaboration, JANE KENYON SESSIONS VOLUME ONE. If you're anywhere near Sacramento, CA on the night of Wednesday, March 20th, please join us at the B Street Theatre for a great night of music and stories...all celebrating and sending off my fabulous rack in style! Tickets can be bought here . A concert in NYC is also in the works.
