Hi my name is Gemma I am the landlady of the Lady brook hotel and I am fundraising for Maggie Fell, Maggie is 79 years young, who was diagnosed with cancer 1 year 8 months ago. (lung and lymph nodes)

Maggie has been coming into the pub for the past 40 years, she is part of the furniture here, the first time I met Maggie she called me ignorant, due to me being on an online course, so from then I found out that she is not some one you want to get on wrong side of, she is well loved and respected in this pub, she is the first to donate and get people to put there hands in there pocket if we are raising fund.

She recently found out her time scale and they have said 2 years however Maggie stated I am a fighter so who knows.

Maggie loves to say uncle fester has nothing on her!

On the 26th of October we will be hosting a charity event in honour of her, ALL donations will be going to QUEENS CHILDREN CANCER WARD.

Maggie and others will be shaving their hair and beard to raise money for the charity of her choice which she has not wavered from and is adamant on.
