Maggie Ann Shepard Memorial Fundraiser
Donation protected
It is with incredible sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Maggie Ann Shepard, who journeyed on peacefully February 18, 2022, surrounded by her daughter, family, fiance, and loved ones. She valiantly fought a nearly two-month battle against COVID.
Maggie was a very proud mom and gamma, and she loved Ashley and Ruby immensely. Her fiance, Jason Nopah, said Maggie was a beautiful soul who made him want to be a better person. "She was the love of my life," he said.
Maggie recently renewed her faith in God and made steps to strengthen her relationships with Jesus and with her family. She left the world with her full faith and trust in God intact.
Maggie was vibrant and glowing and had an infectious laugh. She left a lasting impression on all those who came in contact with her. She was an amazing cook and loved to feed her family and loved ones. Her dogs Meeko and Anna will miss her deeply.
As her friend and Ashley's Auntie, I am organizing donations to help the family cover funeral expenses. The family was not prepared for this tremendous loss. The cost of laying Maggie to rest is estimated at $10,000 and includes mortuary services, burial costs, a headstone, etc.
Maggie was born July 10, 1974, and is from Tolani Lake, AZ on the Navajo Nation. She graduated from Flagstaff High School and received a Bachelors at Northern Arizona University and her Masters degree in business from Grand Canyon University. She is survived by her daughter Ashley, granddaughter Ruby, mom Marjorie, sisters Margaret and Maria, brother Riddo, and her fiance Jason. She is preceded in death by her father Joe Benally.
"A picture is worth a thousand words, and a memory is worth a million."
