Magda and Josh hurried to evacuate Tuesday evening when the fires started by the thunderstorm a few nights earlier began to approach their home. They were only able to grab their dogs, important paperwork, plus a few essentials and retreat to safety.
They are currently living in their van, heading north, trying to seek refuge from the fires and smoke with their two young girls (3 yrs old & 7 weeks old) and two big dogs.
We hope you can join us in helping their family recover in this difficult time. Although the loss is incalculable, we hope this will make the recovery easier and provide them with funds for temporary housing, baby supplies, living expenses, and eventually rebuilding their life.
We know that many in our community have been displaced or lost their homes from the fire—so whatever you're able to contribute is deeply appreciated. Please consider sharing this with your circle of family and friends.
