My Journey and My Gratitude

Hello everyone,

My name is Magaly, and I am reaching out with humility and hope. A few years ago, I left Venezuela and came to the United States to rebuild my life and provide a safer future for my family. I am a single mother to a teenage daughter and an adult son, and I am also the proud grandmother of a sweet little girl who brings joy and light into my life.

I have been working in a daycare caring for children — a job I truly love and one that has helped me support my family as we start over in this country.

Recently, my life changed completely when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am now beginning a difficult medical journey that includes surgery, treatments, and a long recovery process. I am facing this chapter with faith and strength, but as an immigrant and the sole provider for my home, the financial burden is overwhelming.

That is why I have created this GoFundMe. Any support — big or small — will make a meaningful difference. Your help will allow me to focus on healing without the fear of not being able to cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and the needs of my children and granddaughter during this challenging time.

Mi Camino y Mi Agradecimiento

Hola a todos,

Mi nombre es Magaly, y hoy acudo a ustedes con humildad y esperanza. Hace algunos años emigré de Venezuela a Estados Unidos para reconstruir mi vida y ofrecerle a mi familia un futuro más seguro. Soy madre soltera de una hija adolescente y de un hijo adulto, y también soy la orgullosa abuela de una dulce niña que llena mis días de alegría y luz.

He estado trabajando en un daycare cuidando niños, un trabajo que amo profundamente y que me ha permitido sostener a mi familia mientras empezamos de nuevo en este país.

Hace poco mi vida cambió por completo cuando fui diagnosticada con cáncer de seno. Ahora inicio un proceso médico difícil que incluye cirugía, tratamientos y una recuperación que será larga. Estoy enfrentando este capítulo con fe y fortaleza, pero, como inmigrante y principal proveedora de mi hogar, la carga financiera es abrumadora.

Por eso he creado esta campaña. Cualquier apoyo —grande o pequeño— hará una diferencia significativa. Su ayuda me permitirá enfocarme en mi recuperación sin el temor de no poder cubrir los gastos médicos, las necesidades básicas y el bienestar de mis hijos y mi nieta durante este momento tan desafiante.

Desde lo más profundo de mi corazón, gracias por su solidaridad, su compasión y su apoyo. Con su ayuda, espero superar esta etapa y continuar construyendo la vida por la que tanto he trabajado.
