Support for Kiera's Osteosarcoma treatment journey

Hello everyone,

We have set up this fundraiser in support of my youngest sister Kiera, she is 13 years old and has very recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her leg.

This has all happened really quickly and she will be beginning her treatment journey very soon.

Kiera's treatment will include chemotherapy, blood transfusions and surgery to remove her kneecap and part of her femur.

This is going to be a very challenging time for everyone but especially for Kiera. Currently she is not able to put weight on her leg and needs a wheelchair to get around. This will be the case for the foreseeable future and we are hoping to help fund an electric wheelchair so that she can remain as independent as possible.

We also hope that any funds raised may be able to help towards travel costs to and from hospital and with any other unexpected costs that will inevitably arise under the circumstances.

Alongside this, adaptations will be needed to be made in her home so that she'll be able to live on the ground floor as she will be unable to climb the stairs.

Kiera is such a kind, funny and massively brave girl, we are all so devastated that she has to face this.

Please help us to help them by lessening the burden of financial strain that they will face during this challenging time.
