Mafiosos is a short film chronicling the story of two pacifist Mob Men who need to figure out what to do when they discover the dead body they're supposed to bury isn't actually dead.
How You Can Help
To make a movie is no easy feat, it takes passion, good storytelling and equipment, the first two of which we have in droves. What we are asking as part of this campaign is to help to ensure that we have the best tools at our disposal in order to make the best film possible.
Your donation will be split between several vital elements that go into making a great film. The most of which is the camera, without it there would be no film!
In addition to this, your donation will also go towards many smaller elements of a film including grip and electric equipment, expendables, transportation expenses and craft services.
A small portion of all donations will also be put aside to pay for film festivals in the future.
Our Goal
I have been incredibly passionate about filmmaking since a very young age, picking up my first video camera at the age of 9, I never put it down. With this project, I was able to team up with several incredibly talented people who all have the same drive as I do towards filmmaking and we all have a similar goal in mind. That goal is to make a successful short film that we could then submit to many festivals and send around to people within the industry to hopefully get us some attention so we can all go on to do bigger and better things.
Why Donate?
In addition to the many many thanks you will receive from both myself and the entire crew, the satisfaction that you will hopefully gain knowing you helped several aspiring filmmakers dreams come true and a digital copy of the final product you will also be entered into a drawing.
For every $5 donated, one entry to the drawing will be made in your name. After everything is said and done, we will be giving away a copy of the script, props, a poster and behind the scenes stills signed by the whole cast and crew (You never know, one of us may be famous one day!)
And don't let this deter you if you donate less. Every single donation means so much to us because it brings us one step closer to making this story a reality.
