On the morning of Tuesday, June 10th, Donald was suddenly struck with severe chest pain and rushed to the ER. Doctors discovered he had suffered a sudden aortic dissection, a life-threatening tear in his aorta. Without hesitation, he was immediately taken into emergency open-heart surgery, which ultimately saved his life.
