Message from Mitchy :

 This is her picture before she was admitted on Saturday—look at her little paw. ❤️ We got amazing news this morning—she might be able to come home tomorrow! She’s off morphine, stable, and looking much brighter. This journey hasn’t been easy, but your prayers, love, and support have meant everything. We are so grateful for every bit of kindness that has come our way. Now, we just need to get her home and give her the care she needs. If you’d like to support her recovery, every little bit helps. URGENT: Help Save Maevyn!

Maevyn is still fighting for her life in emergency care—day 4 and counting. She’s on IV fluids, antibiotics, and anti-nausea meds, but her condition remains critical. We’re holding onto hope that today will bring improvement. ❤️

This has been an emotional and financial rollercoaster, with vet bills climbing toward $10,000. With three dogs, seven horses, and two cats depending on her, she's struggling to balance it all.

As most of you already know, our dear friend Mitchy is going through an unimaginable ordeal. Her beloved dog, Maevyn, has been a loyal companion, a loving mom to her eight puppies, and an irreplaceable part of the Hansen household. But now, Maevyn is fighting for her life.

Two days ago, Maevyn disappeared for 3.5 terrifying hours. She had never left the property before, and when Mitchy and the family finally tracked her down, what they found was heartbreaking. She was hypothermic, weak, and surrounded by bobcat tracks, likely drawn to the scent of her blood.

After an emergency vet visit, they learned that Maevyn has parvovirus, a deadly illness. She is now in critical care for at least 72 hours, fighting for her life.

Mitchy would never ask for help, but the reality is that vet bills are stacking up fast. Anyone who knows Mitchy knows how much love and care she pours into her animals—now, it’s our turn to support her and Maevyn.
