Maeve's CCL Solutions...
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
We are posting this request for help on behalf of Maeve, Emily’s sweet girl. Over the years, you may have gotten to know Maeve on Facebook or Instagram, or better yet - in person. She is a beloved dog for Emily, and is a major part of many people’s lives. Maeve came to Emily as a pup, timid and shy; she has progressed from hiding under a chair at agility classes to an enthusiastic, joyful participant and it has been a pleasure to watch her succeed. Over the years Maeve has provided Emily with significant support and they have indeed nurtured each other.
Unfortunately, Maeve has torn both of her cruciate ligaments and requires surgery. We are having to ask for any possible donations to help with this surgery or special braces. If you know Emily, you will understand how heartbreaking this is for her.
Emily is a very giving person and would do whatever she can to help others and never ask for anything. This is not her initiative to ask for help, but it will be the only way she can try to financially give Maeve what she requires. We also know this is a difficult time for most people, as COVID has impacted everyone’s life in many ways, so we understand if a donation is not possible at this time. Thank you for reading this, and we hope you know how grateful we are if you are able to help in any manner. We also hope you are all well, and managing through these difficult times.
The amount posted is the full amount for both CCL surgeries ($5,000 for 1; $10,000 for both). We are posting it to give everyone an idea of what the cost of this is in its' totality, and know that we are unlikely to raise anywhere near the full amount. That being said, whatever is raised will go toward one or both surgeries, OR alternatively two custom fit braces which will cost approximately $2000 each, including cost of travel (several trips to T.O. for fittings), fittings themselves, shipping, etc.
Thank you.
