Maeve - Our Little Fighter

On behalf of the Taylor family, I am fundraising for the newest addition - baby Maeve Taylor who was born July 8th, 2022. Maeve was diagnosed with a cardiac condition called AVSD. An AVSD occurs when there is a large hole in the center of the heart which allows blood to flow between all four chambers of the heart. This hole occurs where the septa (walls) separating the two top chambers (atria) and two bottom chambers (ventricles) normally meet. This occurs in about 1 out of 1,800 babies per year. While some babies can wait 2-6 months for surgery, Maeve could not. Her condition worsened rapidly and at 20 days old, she endured a complete cardiac repair at Children’s Hospital in Boston. After spending nearly 8 hours in the OR, she is on the road to recovery. We anticipate Maeve spending the next 4-6 weeks at Children’s Hospital for her recovery. We are so grateful for the team taking care of our little munchkin, and we cannot wait to have her home.

I have created this Go Fund Me for my parents, Rick and Candace. These two would give the shirts off their back to anyone in need - right now they need some extra support. The medical bills, parking, gas, etc add up so quickly. The last thing they need to worry about is the financial side of things while they’re should be focusing on the road to recovery.
