My name is Rachel, and I’m a 34-year-old single mother to my 4-year-old daughter, Mae. She is my reason for pushing forward every day, and together we share a powerful story of hope and resilience. While there’s much more to our journey, today I want to share a special chapter that began with Mae’s big heart and even bigger dreams.
About a year ago, Mae surprised me with her idea to start something called “Share The Love.” She wanted to make shirts, socks, and water bottles for our family and pets, all with the message of spreading kindness. Her creativity and compassion amazed me, and together we designed a logo and started dreaming up ways to help others. Mae’s mission is simple: to save animals and help people, and she’s always coming up with new ideas to make the world a better place.
Recently, Mae told me she wanted to make this Valentine’s Day extra special for cats and dogs in shelters. She dreams of giving them toys, treat bags, beds, and bowls—anything to help them feel loved and cared for. As a single mom, I want nothing more than to support her, but it’s hard to make ends meet. Still, I’ve gathered what I can, and I’m determined to help her bring joy to as many animals as possible. With your support, we could donate supplies on a much larger scale to local shelters and nonprofits, making a real impact for animals in need.
Everyone has a voice. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to truly hear it. My papaw always told me, “I believe in you,” and those words mean more than we realize. This fundraiser is for anyone who can relate, and for the little girl I’m blessed to call my daughter. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for any help you can give to help Mae share her love with animals and people alike.
