Mae’s life-saving procedure
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Jenna and a year ago, I adopted my best friend from the SPCA. Around 2am Tuesday morning, I was woken up to Mae in distress and I immediately knew something wasn’t right. She was extremely lethargic and in shock. We rushed her to an emergency vet where they started testing on her right away. After several “it could be this” and “maybe that”, the doctor is fairly confident that Mae has a blood clot in her intestines. This clot could be from a heartworm lodged from before I had her. At this point, we have already spent $3500 on all the proper testing and are quoted an additional $8000 for the life-saving procedure of removing the clot. We are not ready to give up on our baby.
