!!!!! NEW EXCITING UPDATE#3 !!!!!!

We are now at the countdown!!!!! 6 days (as of 11/19) days till Transplant thank you to all of the families and friends that contributed to our GoFundMe, all of ur prayers and your help is greatly appreciated. I will continue to update on here aswell for all of you that are wanting to know how mom and I are post op ahhhhhh!!! You guys my mom is going to finally be healthy and have her life back lord willing ❤️ thank u again, u don't know how much this means to our whole Family.❤️

!!! UPDATE #2 !!!!

( As of September 5, 2025 @ 1:15pm I recieved a phone call from my Donor Team telling me my official approval letter from our Transplant Team is being sent to me as we speak!!! ..My Coordinator has been pushing for this approval for us, so that when mom is well enough we can go straight into surgery... and it happened!! I recieved my official letter!! The Transplant committee has APPROVED me for Kidney donation!!!! Alot of prayers and time have taken place in order for this to happen, mom has had several surgeries these past couple of months due to medical scares and infections, she is currently being treated for another one rn but she is finally doing better and is on the tail end of reaching medical release for Transplant...please keep her in ur prayers that she gets her clearance saying its safe for her Transplant!! Our Transplant surgeries should be taking place in October or November based on her medical clearance ❤️ we r so close...she is more than ready and so Am I !!!!!!!! I know so many of u have been curious as to why no update on Transplant yet but this is why...getting my official approval from the committee took time we didnt anticipate on my Donor side of this journey and now moms safety and health as she is healing and getting well enough have all led to these heart renching set backs, but mom has been fighting strong daily with her pain and fatigue and her unforgiving hours of treatments...please u guys pray this comes quickly!!!! Please our family is ready!!! We r so ready for her to get her life back!!!

I’m a 100% Kidney Match for My Mom!

The results are in — I’m a 100% blood and tissue match for my mom!! That means she will officially be receiving my kidney!

Words can’t express how grateful I am to be able to give her this gift of life. After all the waiting, the prayers,We knew God would show up in the most powerful way. Thank you, Lord!

Now we prepare for surgery and recovery. I’m asking for your continued support during this time, any donation Big or Small helps cover Medical costs not covered by insurance, any lost wages during recovery, all of this will help support my mom's recovery as it will help elevate that financial stress that her and my dad will be taking on.

**Hello everyone My name is Maegan and I'm asking you to help Me Give the Gift of Life!!! A Kidney for My Mom!!!

I’m reaching out with a full heart and a hopeful spirit that we can help to reach the means to get through this financial battle. My amazing mom has been battling kidney failure and has been on dialysis (a treatment that’s keeps her Body going, but not truly living). She’s been fighting so hard with alot of pain and complications during her cycles, most days she is in bed with pain. but keeps fighting to be here for her children and to watch her grandchildren grow. Now, I have the chance to give her something she deserves so deeply, a second chance to live out her full life with health!

I’ve completed the final stages of being a living kidney donor for my mom. On June 23, 2025, at 8:30 AM, I completed my last round of testing(Tissue matching). The good news is these last several months if completed all my other tests and that's when we found out I'm a blood match for mom, and all my scans and other labs have come back clear and healthy.

Now we’re just praying for the final confirmation that I’m her absolute match. But not to worry, if I’m not a full tissue match for her, I’ve already made the decision to join the Paired Kidney Exchange Program which is a beautiful process where I donate my kidney to another recipient in need, and in turn, my mom receives a kidney from someone else who matches her. Either way, MY KIDNEY WILL HELP SAVE A LIFE! and that gift will circle right back to MY MOM giving her the quality of life she’s been waiting and fighting for. We’re setting a fundraising goal of $7,000 to help with the financial challenges that come with this journey. Your donation will help cover Lost wages during my recovery, Medical costs not fully covered by insurance, Support for my mom’s care and recovery. Every dollar, share, or prayer makes a difference.
