Hi, We’re Kristy & Ryan! We’re asking for your help with the surgery and treatment for our dog, Maeby. No donation is too small and all donations are so incredibly appreciated! 

Maeby is a Tijuana rescue, brought to San Diego by The Animal Pad in 2020. During the first month of fostering Maeby, she was timid and stinky and tiny and the sweetest. It has been so much fun watching her personality blossom. We fostered a few dogs prior to Maeby and they all found their perfect homes. Maeby became our last foster and turned out to be our Definitely!

She was recently diagnosed with Glaucoma. If you’re like us, you may not know much about this disease. We learned that it’s uncomfortable and quite painful, like having a migraine headache, and with every flare-up of inflammation her vision deteriorated and she is now blind. We’ve done our best to manage her pain, but have come to terms with the fact that she will need both eyes removed for her comfort. We will miss those big brown eyes… but know this is the best thing for Maeby!
