Madyson's dance competitive dance season is well underway! Mady was chosen for several small group dances and she finally gets to do a duet with one of her best friends, Thea! She will have another solo by favorite choreographer and teacher, Miss April which she will begin to learn August 3. She will be in a total of 9 competitive dances this year!
As you all know, dance is Madyson's passion and focus. She will be auditioning for intensives over the summer in 2016: Hubbard Street in Chicago and Iowa City, and possibly Joffery in New York. She is commited to dance and at this point is hoping to dance in college. Her dream is to be a professional dancer and choreographer and some day own her own studio.
Mady worked as a Teacher's Assistant last year and will continue this year to help contribute to her dance tuition- When she is able to she will even help her mom in the dance shop and office. She has been known to clean studios, dust the waiting area, and help the Mini's stay together back stage during competitions.
Madyson is dedicated to her craft, and we appreciate all of the support from our families by contributing to her tuition and competition fees, attending competitions and recitals, and helping with transportation to and from dance!
We are looking forward to another great year, and thanks again!
