Madisyn Bezdicek

We are family, and Maddy is one of the parts of our lives that reminds us of what's good in the world. Madisyn Bezdicek has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer only days before the start of her senior year of high school. Instead, now, she is preparing for the fight of her life. In a matter of two days, Maddy went from summer break teenager to being an unexpected passenger on board a medical flight to Children’s Hospital Colorado, where she went through extensive testing and biopsy procedure that confirmed her cancer diagnosis. Maddy is a fighter! Let’s come together for this amazing girl and her family to show our support for her to receive treatments, travel to and from Montana for the best possible care, and to help ease the financial burden.

This journey finds Maddy taking on her first rounds of chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado over the next several weeks. During that time, her mom and dad will be with her taking on these steps together. This road will not be short as she faces up to six months of initial treatments, travel, lodging and the inevitable challenges and triumphs of each day. As we all are for family, no words fully explain how much love we have for each other, so we reach out to our great communities to please show your support. We hope to challenge everyone to find time to share her story, share love and support, and take one step at a time together.

Maddy's kind heart, humor and beautiful smile always lights up the room. She doesn’t lack motivation, focus, or strength, along with being a great daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, and all-time best camping partner. If you didn’t find her at school or working her part-time job, you’d be sure to see her riding dirt bikes with her brother, dad and friends all over the mountain tops. She has her eyes set on helping others into her bright future. Hard work, honesty, family, friends and community will carry her through... We are so grateful for your help!
