Bring an Art Curriculum to Madison
Donation protected
Madison School students are SUPER SMART but we're hoping to make them even smarter by giving them more opportunities to use the creative part of their brain.
Students in Quincy Public Schools do not have regular art class until 4th grade. Right now, Madison kids get art 3 times a year through the Quincy Art Center. Our goal is get them a formal art curriculum once a month.
With your help, we can pay for art supplies and for an art teacher to come into each classroom one time per month. The lessons will correspond with our district, state, and federal visual art standards.
Fun fact:
Students that are active in fine arts score higher on standardized tests.
