Madison's service dog
Donation protected

16 year old young lady requires epilepsy trained service dog to provide warning before an epileptic seizure occurs.
Madison started having full tonic clonic seizures at the age of 12. So far, we have not been able to pin point any triggers, and they do not follow any patterns. Her seizures happen without any warning, and she is at major risk for head injury. Having a seizure alert and response dog would truly be life changing for Madison. Not only could it alert her to get onto the ground, in a safe space, but the dog will also prevent her from getting up during the postictal state (she is conscious, but dazed, unstable and unaware of what is going on so she can hurt herself with falling). We have been very fortunate to have always been around when she has a seizure, but there is always looming danger of her being alone.
She is embarrassed by her seizures and feels different from others, but she is the kindest, sweetest girl and would be eternally grateful for a service dog.
