Help Me Chase My Dream at Vancouver Film School
Hi, I’m Madison Newton — and I’m becoming an actress.
This isn’t just a dream anymore. It’s my plan, and I’m all in. I’ve worked on real film sets. I’ve trained hard. I’ve put in the hours behind and in front of the camera. And now, I’ve been accepted into Vancouver Film School — one of the top acting programs in the world, with direct connections to Hollywood and the global film industry.
This is where it truly begins. But because the school is in Canada, I can’t use regular U.S. student aid. I’m facing high tuition costs and expensive international loans, and I can’t do it alone — that’s why I’m asking for your help.
Since I was young, storytelling has been my passion — the magic of a performance making someone feel seen, heard, and understood. Acting isn’t just a career to me; it’s my way of connecting with people and giving them the hope and belonging that art once gave me.
I lost my father when I was young, and every step I take in this career is for him. He believed in me before I even believed in myself. His encouragement lit a fire in me that’s only grown stronger with time. When I walk across that stage, step onto that set, or take my first role — he’ll be right there with me.
My dream doesn’t stop with me either. One day, I want to mentor other young artists, start a scholarship fund, and visit schools and communities to give back — to be the person I once needed.
If you can donate — whether it’s $5, $50, or $500 — you’re not just helping me get to school; you’re becoming part of my story. And when I make it — because I will — I’ll remember you. If you’re able to give a larger amount, I would love to invite you to my first movie premiere. I mean that with all my heart.
Even if you can’t give financially, sharing this campaign is a huge help.
Thank you for believing in dreams. Thank you for believing in me.
With all my love and gratitude,
Madison Newton
