Meet my sister Maddie, a beautiful daughter, youngest sibling of 3, and dog mom to her lovable boy Maverick. As a Chico State Alumni, former Sigma Kappa sister, and a Masters student at San Diego State University, her world came to a stand still this Christmas. What we thought was the aftermath of COVID turned out to be much worse. She has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a rare type of cancer of the lymphatic system.

 

At the young age of 23, Maddie has already spent much of her adult life in and out of the hospital with other conditions, surgeries, etc. We will now be tackling a new fight as she will undergo a full year of chemotherapy at Stanford and all of the struggles that come with it.

 

Our family gracefully asks for your help as we navigate this journey of Maddie’s recovery. We are no stranger to the cost of medical treatments that she has already undergone however this is unlike anything else.
