Hi, my name is Joyce Schmidt and I am again fundraising to help my beautiful granddaughter, Madison. Madi was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last February. Since that time she has undergone 12 chemo treatments, forcing her to quit her job and drop out of college. The chemo treatments were tough but she got through them. Her hair and energy were just starting to come back. She was back to work; she was back in school, and then cancer said “I’m baaaack!”

Madi will again need to undergo chemo treatments, this time as an inpatient. They will be followed by a stem cell transplant to hopefully kill the cancer and get her body to heal itself. She will be hospitalized for at least two months total. She will be out of school and a job for at least 6 months to a year. We are asking for your help with paying for out of pocket and living expenses for the next trial period of her life. If you are a prayerful person, we are also asking for your prayers.

Madi’s dream is to become an RN because she likes to help people. Let’s help her so she can continue her life to help others.
