My name is Madison Opfer and I am from Plant City, FL. I am a recent graduate of Tulane University and the NCAA D1 Women’s Golf Team there. I double majored in Management and Marketing with a 3.39 GPA. In July I will start my professional golf career at the SunCoast/NWGA tournament at West Orange Country Club. I will also be competing in other Suncoast events throughout the rest of the year as well as going to Qualifying School for the LPGA beginning the 25th of August. The average cost of a SunCoast/NWGA event is roughly $450 and the cost of LPGA Tour Qualifying School is $5,500.

I am fully confident in my abilities to compete at the highest level of women’s golf competition. However, I am lacking the financial ability to accomplish my goals. This is where you come in! I need your help to pay for my tournament expenses (entry fees, travel, etc.). Every dollar donated will go directly to paying for my tournament expenses. 

Some of my golf accomplishments:

Ranked 164th in Golf Stat rankings for NCAA Division 1 (74.84 scoring average)
2016: 2nd place finish at the LSU Tiger Classic
2014: 1st place finish in a dual match against Denver (Tulane vs. Denver)
2013: Tied 3rd in the NCAA D1 East Regional
2011: 1st place finish at Florida Women’s Junior Golf Championship
2010: Tied 55th in the LPGA Future’s Tour Event (age 15)

My dad and I work very hard to save every extra penny to help pay for expenses but it is proving to not be enough. My total expenses are expected to be over $20,000 to get me through December. This amount would cover competing in SunCoast/NWGA events and going through LPGA Tour Qualifying School. I have had the dream of competing on the LPGA Tour for 10 years and I need help to accomplish that goal. Any help given will make a difference, thank you!
