Madison Holley’s Recovery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Brittney and I am raising money for my niece, Madison Holley. Maddy was the victim of a motorcycle accident on 05/06/23 around 9pm in Tucson, AZ. Maddy was heading home for the night and a man carelessly pulled out in front of her bike. The man tried to leave, but a few people who witnessed the accident made him turn around and return to the scene. While Madison was wearing all of the appropriate gear, the injuries she sustained were life threatening and if it wouldn’t have been for the bystanders and local EMTs she truly would not be with us today.

She had a significant amount of internal bleeding, large lacerations to her lower extremities, shattered pelvis, perforated intestines, ruptured bladder, and collapsed lungs. After receiving several units of blood, heavy sedation, and being intubated she is considered to be in a guarded state. As of today, she has undergone 7 different surgeries and has three more scheduled in the near future.

Maddy will be confined to a bed for a couple months following her accident to ensure her pelvis heals in a natural position, she will then be transferred to inpatient, and eventually allowed to go home in a wheelchair. She will need an extensive amount of physical therapy to help her learn how to walk again.

For those of you who know her personally, Maddy is a self employed photographer and she is very passionate about what she does. Taking such a significant amount of time off to recover is sure to impact her financially.

We are hoping to help her supplement her income for at least few months, truly any and everything helps.

I will do my best to keep everyone updated on her condition as it progresses. Maddy is and has always been one of the strongest most badass women I’ve know. With the love and support of this community we are sure she will pull through.

Thank you for all your kindness and generosity.
