Madhuparna Sen - Funds for At-Home Nurse Care
Don protégé
You’ve landed on this page because someone you know loves Madhuparna! (Please only share this person to person, not on social media.) On September 4, Madhuparna was diagnosed with cancer. Within days of her diagnosis, she contracted covid, then underwent her first round of chemotherapy. This week, she started the first of several rounds of 35-day cycles of chemotherapy. During that time, she will be staying at a hotel for the first six days to be near the hospital because of the odd hours of chemo, and then she will return home to let her body heal before she repeats the cycle. When she is at home, it is essential that she have an at-home nurse to care for her, which is an expensive enterprise. That’s where you all come in!
Madhuparna has touched our lives in so many ways. Living in Lexington after moving from India to Boston in 1996, she has many friends and is a passionate community service worker. She is also a wonderful mom to her son, Debayan, and wife to her husband, Santanu. To her colleagues at the Meadowbrook School of Weston, she has been a caring friend and advisor for her 14 years of work there. She is the director of human resources and on more than one occasion has helped people sift through mounds of paperwork, patiently explaining options for health care or FSAs, always fervently putting her colleagues’ interests at the center of her work.
Now is our time to give back to her! Please share this page only with people who know Madhuparna. She does not want this posted on social media. By circling this
Go Fund Me to people who know and love Madhuparna, we can show our support for her during this critical time, and cover the expense of an at-home nurse, so that she can focus on healing. Madhuparna, we love you so!
