Madera High School Hiking Club

Hello Family and Friends,

I am the advisor for the Madera Hiking Club. The Hiking Club provides our high school students opportunities to experience the outdoors with exciting hikes. Our club also teaches our students to give back to their school and community by providing community service opportunities. Students have been working very hard to raise money all year to pay for the hikes' transportation. With the money we raised, we were able to go on two hikes this year, one Twin Lakes and the other one to the Table Top Mountains. However, fundraising opportunities are minimal at our school. That is why we are asking for your kind donation so that we can go on a culminating hike to the coast. Any help is greatly appreciated. Some of our students have never seen the ocean in person. That is why we would like our Hiking Club to be able to provide our students with that experience. Thank you in advance for your kind donations.

Yo dirijo el club de las caminatas en la secundaria de Madera. El club provee la experiencia a nuestros alumnos de ir a caminatas al aire libre. Nuestro club tambien le ensena a nuestros almunos la importancia de ayudar a su escuela y comunidad contribuyendo su tiempo. Nuestros alumnos han trabajado bastante para recaudar fondos para la transportacion para las caminatas. Con el dinero recaudado, han podido pagar para dos caminatas, la primera a Twin Lakes y la otra a Table Top Mountains. Pero sin embargo, oportunidades para recaudar fondos son limitadas en nuestra escuela. Es por eso que estamos pidiendo su ayuda generosa para poder ir a una ultima caminata a la costa. Cualquier ayuda es bienvenida. Algunos de nuestros alumnos nunca han visto el mar en persona, es por eso que queremos llevar a los chicos a la costa. Muchas gracias por su generosidad.
