Madelyn's forever home ♥️

My name is Jessica. I am the biological aunt of madelyn grace. Madelyn's story started on 1/10/2018 the day she was born. At birth she was addicted to oxcodone, she made a speedy recovery and was able to go home with her birth parents. Madelyn's parents fought alot and continued on the same path with addiction. They relied on family and friends to pay their bills and buy madelyn's needs. Madelyn experienced nothing but fighting, neglect and drug usage around her for the first 17 months of her life. My Brother came to my home so I could help with her and him to get the help he needed.I begged the parents to let me raise Madelyn as my own. I already had a 4 year old but my home was open to her but they refused. I had to let her go back with them Which only led to more neglect. Child protective services stepped in when madelyn was found in a hotel with drugs and her mother found unresponsive. Madelyn was given to family friend's who took her in with nothing and gave her unconditional love and a safe place. she made them her family, calling them papa don and nanna Catherine. The court finally awarded me custody of Madelyn in 2021. Don and Catherine moved madelyn in to my home where she is save and secure. Don then passed a few months after. Since then madelyn is thriving! She calls me mom and it just melts my heart. She see my son as her brother, they do everything together. Madelyn receives therapy for her abandonment and emotional state due to the abuse of her parents. She is in a wonderful school and is a beautiful, outgoing, smart little girl. She is surrounded by family and friends that love her so much. Nana Catherine and her family just adore her still and visit her often. We have all became one big family But madelyn is in need of her forever home. A place where she knows she can always go without the fear of her biological parents coming back. She suffered enough from them. I am starting the adoption process to make sure madelyn is safe forever. That no harm will ever come to her again. But Im asking for help to make that a possibility because raising two kids by myself can be challenging. We appreciate any help we can get to make our home, her forever home. Thank you.
