Madelyn's Cancer Battle

Madelyn Rose Torres entered the world on January 16th, 2015. Anyone who knows her has undoubtedly had their lives changed for the better; but the charismatic, loving little girl we all know and adore has become sick. A large tumor was recently discovered in her brain. Due to the tumors large size and placement, surgery was the only option to save her. On March 12th, 2017, Madelyn underwent surgery and the tumor was successfully removed. Doctors are not yet able to provide a diagnosis, but one thing is certain; Madelyn now has a long road to recovery ahead of her.
From us: We are Matt and Christina Cook, aunt and uncle to Madelyn. The Torres' are a family of 5, with the newest member, Penelope, born just 4 weeks ago. We know the medical expenses associated with Madelyn's recovery, along with the long road of recovery, are going to be a challenge. The Torres' are a Christian family and are trusting God through all of this. This GoFundMe account is a chance for all who know and love Madelyn to put action (through giving) alongside prayers for Madelyn and her family.
At the request of the family, I will be responsible for managing any funds that are raised and will be preventing them in the form of a check to Madelyn's parents.
