Madeline’s USA basketball Trip 2024

Hi my name is Rikki & I am starting a fundraiser for my baby sister Madeline and the exciting opportunity she has been presented with.

Madeline Holmes, 14. Proud Narungga, Wirangu, Butchulla, Māori.

currently plays for U/16 Sunshine Coast Phoenix Basketball Club.

She has represented Qld South in the IBA .

Played at state level in her age group and with the hard work and dedication to the sport she loves, Maddy has earned her spot in the U/16 South Qld Spirit Basketball camp at the University of California, San Diego 2024.

The total cost of the tour is

$3000AUD per athlete, covering expenses such as return flights from Brisbane to Los Angeles, 7 nights of accommodation, daily breakfast, on-ground

transportation, camp fees, and uniforms for the players.

This is a great opportunity to support my sisters dream to be a Professional Athlete. We are extremely proud of her achievements, I know this will be a tremendous help and weight lifted for my Mum & Step-Dad who have worked tirelessly to support Maddy in her basketball. From weekly trainings, hours of driving to games and trials, having to sacrifice to ensure her participation.
