Hey there!
Over the last few years, God has revealed to me the call on my life to global mission work with grade school students. After researching and praying for the right opportunity, I discovered an organization that perfectly answers the desires of my heart.
I will be completing my education in student ministry through a hands-on apprenticeship program with a youth-focused missional organization called Pais Movement (Pais means “Child Servant of the King” in Greek; pronounced "payze"). Pais trains young adults to love and serve students around the world within long term residencies in student ministries and high schools . Pais' core belief is that as Christians, we should be “Sending Missionaries to Make Missionaries.”
I was accepted into Pais USA under a position created specifically for me by the National Director. During the next month while completing classes at DBU, I will undergo intense training at a local church in Fort Worth with the intention to prepare me for the role of Team Leader of Pais' very first team in California. While there, I will oversee our team of 5-6 apprentices commissioned to grow the Kingdom in Orange County.
In January of 2016, I will pack up my life and move to Orange County, California.
My fundraising goal is $5,000 by January 10th. I am reaching out to friends and family for this support.
Pais Movement also asks every team member to raise $750 for the organization so that they may continue doing the great work for students. Please specify in the comment if your donation should go toward Pais Movement, otherwise it will go towards my goal.
Thank you so much for partnering with me as I take this leap of faith.
