Maddy’s final battle with Medulloblastoma

Sadly I find myself writing this to notify all the angels who have followed & supported Maddy with big hearts and prayers. Today we received the news no one is ever ready to hear. Maddy’s 13 year battle with cancer is coming to an end. She had her 5th brain surgery this week. Unfortunately the tumor is back on both sides. She also has demyelination & they believe MS caused by chemotherapy treatments the last year & a half. She has lost her voice and is paralyzed on her right side. This girl has been so brave! Enduring over 7 different kinds of chemotherapy, two full rounds of radiations, the brain surgeries, blood transfusions, feeding tubes, and a stolen childhood. Yet has always remained her sweet self! in fact she has never ever complained. The good news is even though she’s now 23 she has been admitted to Barbara Bush hospital which is fitting as she has spent so much treatment time there since she was 10. They are giving her comfort measures while she awaits her final journey. Her poor parents are both tapped out and trying to figure out how to afford the arrangements they will need to take care of. If anyone is in a position to help financially even a little bit would help. However more importantly please pray her journey will be full of light & love. Thank you ever so much.
